Ligue 1 (Week 16) : Evian beats Bastia 2-1
FRANCE, Dec. 3, 2014 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 16: Three wins in a row for Evian. After their success against Nice and Guingamp, Evian continued their sensational form in the Ligue 1 with a 2-1 victory over Bastia this Wednesday.
Bastia had started off well by taking the lead in the 35th minute with an own goal by Comoran defender Kassim Abdallah. Trailing 1-0 at half time, Evian players nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Wass '65 and N'Sikulu '83).
Evian climbed to 13rd place with 19 points from 15 games, tie on points with Metz.
