Ligue 1 (Week 17) : Monaco defeats Toulouse 2-0
FRANCE, Dec. 5, 2014 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 17: Two wins in a row for Monaco. After their 2-0 win against Lens on December 2, Monaco continued their sensational form in the Ligue 1 with a 2-0 victory over Toulouse this Friday.
Dimitar Berbatov scored dual goals
Monaco dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Bulgarian forward Dimitar Berbatov in the 45th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Monaco players further widened their lead in the second period with another goal by Berbatov on penalty in the 77th minute.
AS Monaco climbed to 7th place with 26 points from 17 games, 2 points behind Bordeaux, which has a game in hand.
