FRANCE, May. 1, 2015 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 35: After four straigth defeats, Marseille bounced back with a 2-0 victory over Metz this Friday.
André-Pierre Gignac scored dual goals
Marseille dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by forward André-Pierre Gignac in the 38th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Marseille players further widened their lead in the second period with another goal by Gignac in the 62nd minute.
Olympique de Marseille climbed to fourth place with 60 points from 35 games, 2 points behind AS Monaco, which has a game in hand.
