Ligue 1 (Week 36) : Marseille beats Monaco 2-1
FRANCE, May. 10, 2015 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 36: After two straigth victories against Lens and Toulouse, Monaco lost 2-1 against Marseille.
Monaco had started off well by taking the lead in the 1st minute with a goal by Portuguese midfielder João Moutinho. Trailing 1-0 at half time, Marseille players nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Ayew '79 and Alessandrini '87).
AS Monaco remains in third place with 65 points from 36 games, 6 points behind Olympique Lyonnais.
