Ligue 1 (Week 10) : Saint-Etienne defeats GFC Ajaccio 2-0
FRANCE, Oct. 17, 2015 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 10: After losing 1-4 to Nice on October 4 and 1-0 to Caen on October 4, Saint-Etienne returned to winning ways with a 2-0 victory over GFC Ajaccio this Saturday.
Saint-Etienne dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Beric Robert in the 20th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Saint-Etienne players further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Monnet-Paquet in the 70th minute.
Saint-Etienne climbed to fourth place with 19 points from 10 games, 2 points behind Caen.
