Ligue 1 (Week 9) : GFC Ajaccio and Toulouse play out 2-2 draw
FRANCE, Oct. 3, 2015 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 9: The match between GFC Ajaccio and Toulouse ended in a 2-2 draw on Saturday.
GFC Ajaccio players started off well by taking the lead thanks to goals by Mayi ('25) and Pujol ('44) while Toulouse only scored once Braithwaite ('22). However, even though they were leading 2-1 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Toulouse with a saving goal from Guinean defender Issiaga Sylla into his own net in the 49th minute.
Toulouse remains in 17th place with 8 points from 9 games, tie on points with Olympique de Marseille, which has a game in hand.
