Ligue 1 (Week 9) : Monaco and Rennes play to a 1-1 draw

FRANCE, Oct. 4, 2015 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 9: Rennes was held to a 1-1 draw by Monaco on Sunday.

Rennes players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Rennes midfielder Abdoulaye Doucouré in the 42nd minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Monaco with a saving goal from Brazilian defender Wallace in the 51st minute.

Rennes remains in third place with 16 points from 9 games, 2 points behind Angers SCO.
