Ligue 1 (Week 4) : Rennes beats Toulouse 3-1
FRANCE, Aug. 29, 2015 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 4: Three wins in a row for Rennes. After their success against Montpellier and Lyon, Rennes continued their sensational form in the Ligue 1 with a 3-1 victory over Toulouse this Saturday.
Toulouse forward Martin Braithwaite opened the score in the 5th minute, before seeing Rennes catch up in the 17th minute thanks to Steeve Yago own goal. 1-1 at half time. Rennes eventually won the game in the second period with two more goals by Armand ('67) and Sio ('90).
Rennes climbed to third place with 9 points from 4 games, tie on points with Paris Saint-Germain, which has a game in hand.
