Ligue 1 (Week 3) : Rennes beats Lyon 2-1
FRANCE, Aug. 22, 2015 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 3: Two wins in a row for Rennes. After their 1-0 win against Montpellier on August 15, Rennes continued their sensational form in the Ligue 1 with a 2-1 victory over Lyon this Saturday.
Rennes midfielder Pedro Henrique opened the score in the 7th minute, before seeing Lyon catch up in the 12th minute thanks to Nabil Fekir. 1-1 at half time. Rennes eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Zeffane in the 56th minute.
Rennes climbed to fourth place with 6 points from 3 games, tie on points with Caen, which has a game in hand.
