Ligue 1 (Week 9) : Lorient beats Bordeaux 3-2
FRANCE, Oct. 4, 2015 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 9: After losing 2-1 to Montpellier on September 27, Lorient bounced back with a 3-2 victory over Bordeaux this Sunday.
Bordeaux had started off well by taking the lead in the 38th minute with a goal by Uruguayan forward Diego Rolán. Trailing 1-0 at half time, Lorient players nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring three times in the second period (Moukandjo '47, Waris Majeed '64 on penalty and Touré '80).
Lorient climbed to 9th place with 14 points from 9 games, tie on points with OGC Nice, which has a game in hand.
