Ligue 1 (Week 8) : Rennes draw 1-1 with Troyes
FRANCE, Sep. 26, 2015 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 8: Rennes was held to a 1-1 draw by Troyes on Saturday.
Troyes players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Troyes midfielder Jessy Pi in the 11th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Rennes with a saving goal from Senegalese defender Fallou Diagné in the 72nd minute.
Rennes remains in third place with 15 points from 8 games, one point behind Saint-Etienne, which has a game in hand.
