Lille made Reims doubt themselves for forty-five minutes. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with a saving goal by Reims forward David N'Gog in the 57th minute.
Reims climbed to third place with 15 points from 8 games, only one point behind Saint-Etienne, which has a game in hand.
