Ligue 1 (Week 7) : Monaco beats Montpellier 3-2
FRANCE, Sep. 24, 2015 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 7: After losing 2-3 to Lorient on September 20, Monaco returned to winning ways with a 3-2 victory over Montpellier this Thursday.
Montpellier had started off well by taking the lead thanks to goals by Congré ('26) and Carrillo Guido ('45 own). Trailing 2-0 at half time, Monaco players nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring three times in the second period (Coentrão '56, Lemar '65 and Fabinho '90 on penalty).
AS Monaco climbed to 10th place with 11 points from 7 games, tie on points with Lorient.
