Ligue 1 (Week 6) : Caen defeats Montpellier 2-1

FRANCE, Sep. 19, 2015 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 6: Two wins in a row for Caen. After their 1-3 win against Troyes on September 12, Caen continued their sensational form in the Ligue 1 with a 2-1 victory over Montpellier this Saturday.

Caen forward Ronny Rodelin opened the score in the 19th minute, before seeing Montpellier catch up in the 32nd minute thanks to Jonas Martin penalty kick. 1-1 at half time. Caen eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Louis Jeff in stoppage time.

Caen climbed to third place with 12 points from 6 games, only one point behind Rennes.
