Ligue 1 (Week 6) : Saint-Etienne beats Nantes 2-0
FRANCE, Sep. 20, 2015 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 6: Four wins in a row for Saint-Etienne. After their success against Lorient, Bastia and Montpellier, Saint-Etienne continued their sensational form in the Ligue 1 with a 2-0 victory over Nantes this Sunday.
Saint-Etienne dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by midfielder Jonathan Bamba in the 25th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Saint-Etienne players further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Beric Robert in the 48th minute.
Saint-Etienne climbed to third place with 13 points from 6 games, tie on points with Rennes.
