Ligue 1 (Week 6) : Guingamp beats GFC Ajaccio 2-1
FRANCE, Sep. 19, 2015 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 6: Three wins in a row for Guingamp. After their success against Marseille and Nice, Guingamp continued their sensational form in the Ligue 1 with a 2-1 victory over GFC Ajaccio this Saturday.
Guingamp forward Sloan Privat opened the score in the 23rd minute, before seeing GFC Ajaccio catch up in the 36th minute thanks to Mangane Kader. 1-1 at half time. Guingamp eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Briand in the 61st minute.
Guingamp climbed to 7th place with 9 points from 6 games, only one point behind Saint-Etienne, which has a game in hand.
