Ligue 1 (Week 12) : Guingamp hold Lorient to 2-2
FRANCE, Oct. 31, 2015 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 12: The match between Guingamp and Lorient ended in a 2-2 draw on Saturday.
Guingamp players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Guingamp forward Jimmy Briand in the 1st minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, and despite Salibur goal ('83) in the second period, they could not prevent a comeback by Lorient with dual goals from Cameroonian forward Benjamin Moukandjo ('64/penalty and '90.
Lorient climbed to 7th place with 17 points from 12 games, tie on points with OGC Nice, which has two games in hand.
