Ligue 1 (Week 13) : Montpellier defeats Nantes 2-1
FRANCE, Nov. 7, 2015 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 13: After their 1-1 draw against Toulouse on October 31, Montpellier returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Nantes this Saturday.
Montpellier dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by defender Jérôme Roussillon in the 12th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Montpellier players further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Hilton seconds before the end of regulation.
Nantes are down in 9th place with 19 points from 13 games, one point behind AS Monaco, which has a game in hand.
