Ligue 1 (Week 16) : GFC Ajaccio defeats Montpellier 2-0
FRANCE, Dec. 2, 2015 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 16: After their 1-1 draw against Lorient on November 28, Le Gaz returned to winning ways with a 2-0 victory over Montpellier this Wednesday.
GFC Ajaccio dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Zoua Jacques in the 45th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Le Gaz further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Tshibumbu in the 74th minute.
Gazelec Ajaccio climbed to 13rd place with 19 points from 16 games, tie on points with Reims.
