Ligue 1 (Week 32) : Saint-Etienne beats GFC Ajaccio 2-0
FRANCE, Apr. 2, 2016 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 32: Two wins in a row for Saint-Etienne. After their 3-0 win against Montpellier on March 19, Saint-Etienne continued their sensational form in the Ligue 1 with a 2-0 victory over GFC Ajaccio this Saturday.
Saint-Etienne dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by forward Nolan Roux in the 15th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Saint-Etienne players further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Theophile-Catherine in the 58th minute.
Saint-Etienne climbed to 6th place with 48 points from 32 games, only one point behind Olympique Lyonnais, which has a game in hand.
