FRANCE, Apr. 9, 2016 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 33: Three wins in a row for Saint-Etienne. After their success against Montpellier and GFC Ajaccio, Saint-Etienne continued their sensational form in the Ligue 1 with a 1-0 victory over Troyes this Saturday.
Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with a saving goal by Saint-Etienne forward Neal Maupay in the 75th minute.
Saint-Etienne climbed to fifth place with 51 points from 33 games, tie on points with Rennes, which has a game in hand.
