Ligue 1 (Week 34) : Lille beats GFC Ajaccio 4-2
FRANCE, Apr. 16, 2016 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 34: 6 wins in a row for Lille. After their success against Reims, Bastia, Toulouse, Nantes and Monaco, Lille continued their sensational form in the Ligue 1 with a 4-2 victory over GFC Ajaccio this Saturday.
Sofiane Boufal scored tripple goals
Lille midfielder Sofiane Boufal opened the score in the 19th minute, before seeing GFC Ajaccio catch up in the 41st minute thanks to Grégory Pujol. 1-1 at half time. Lille eventually won the game in the second period with three more goals by Boufal ('77, '85) and Martínez ('89 own).
Lille climbed to 6th place with 52 points from 34 games, 2 points behind Saint-Etienne.
