FRANCE, Sep. 25, 2016 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 7: After losing 3-2 to Rennes on September 21, Marseille bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Nantes this Sunday.
Nantes forward Emiliano Sala opened the score in the 3rd minute, before seeing Marseille catch up in the 23rd minute thanks to Clinton N'Jie. 1-1 at half time. Marseille eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Gomis Bafetimbi on penalty in the 53rd minute.
Olympique de Marseille climbed to 13rd place with 8 points from 7 games, only one point behind Angers SCO.
