FRANCE, Nov. 19, 2016 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 13: Rennes was held to a 1-1 draw by Angers on Saturday.
Rennes players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Ivorian forward Giovanni-Guy Yann Sio in the 22nd minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Angers with a saving goal from Angers forward Pepe Nicolas in the 82nd minute.
Rennes are down in 6th place with 21 points from 13 games, tie on points with Guingamp, which has a game in hand.
