Ligue 1 (Week 13) : Bastia hold Montpellier to 1-1
FRANCE, Nov. 19, 2016 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 13: The match between Bastia and Montpellier ended in a 1-1 draw on Saturday.
Bastia players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Montpellier midfielder Ellyes Skhiri into his own net in the 6th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Montpellier with a saving goal from Montpellier forward Steve Mounié in the 56th minute.
Montpellier HSC climbed to 12nd place with 15 points from 13 games, 2 points behind Metz.
