Ligue 1 (Week 12) : Lyon beats Bastia 2-1
FRANCE, Nov. 5, 2016 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 12: Two wins in a row for Lyon. After their 1-2 win against Toulouse on October 29, “Les Gones” continued their sensational form in the Ligue 1 with a 2-1 victory over Bastia this Saturday.
Lyon dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by forward Alexandre Lacazette in the 37th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, “Les Gones” further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Bengtsson into his own net with just 4 minutes remaining in regulation time.
Olympique Lyonnais climbed to 7th place with 19 points from 12 games, tie on points with Toulouse.
