Ligue 1 (Week 6) : Lyon beats Montpellier 5-1

FRANCE, Sep. 21, 2016 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 6: After their 0-0 draw against Marseille on September 18, “Les Gones” bounced back with a 5-1 victory over Montpellier this Wednesday.

Nabil Fekir and Corentin Tolisso scored dual goals

Montpellier opened the score in the score in the 4th minute thanks to Morgan Sanson, before Lyon regained the advantage with Fekir ('36 on penalty) and Tolisso ('42). Leading 2-1 at the break, “Les Gones” further widened their lead in the second period by scoring three times (Fekir '57, Tolisso '70 and Cornet '75).

Olympique Lyonnais climbed to 7th place with 10 points from 6 games, only one point behind Guingamp.
