FRANCE, Sep. 20, 2016 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 6: Two wins in a row for Toulouse. After their 2-1 win against Guingamp on September 17, Toulouse continued their sensational form in the Ligue 1 with a 2-1 victory over Lille this Tuesday.
Ola Toivonen scored dual goals
Toulouse forward Ola Toivonen opened the score in the 12th minute, before seeing Lille catch up in the 35th minute thanks to Marko Basa. 1-1 at half time. Toulouse eventually won the game in the second period with with another goal by Toivonen in the 78th minute.
Toulouse climbed to second place with 11 points from 6 games, 2 points behind AS Monaco, which has a game in hand.
