Ligue 1 (Week 24) : Lyon defeats Nancy 4-0
FRANCE, Feb. 8, 2017 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 24: After losing 1-2 to Lille on February 5 and 2-0 to Saint-Etienne on February 5, “Les Gones” returned to winning ways with a 4-0 victory over Nancy this Wednesday.
Lyon dominated the first half thanks to goals from Valbuena Mathieu ('39) and Fekir ('43). Leading 2-0 at the break, “Les Gones” further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Lacazette '54/penalty and Depay Memphis '58).
Olympique Lyonnais remains in fourth place with 40 points from 23 games, 12 points behind OGC Nice.
