Ligue 1 (Week 24) : Monaco beats Montpellier 2-1
FRANCE, Feb. 7, 2017 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 24: Two wins in a row for Monaco. After their 3-0 win against Nice on February 4, Monaco continued their sensational form in the Ligue 1 with a 2-1 victory over Montpellier this Tuesday.
Monaco dominated the first half thanks to goals from Glik ('16) and Mbappe Kylian ('20). Leading 2-0 at the break, Monaco players further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by in the th minute.
AS Monaco remains in first place with 55 points from 24 games, a 6-point lead over runner-up Paris Saint-Germain, which has a game in hand.
