Ligue 1 (Week 18) : Montpellier beats Bordeaux 4-0
FRANCE, Dec. 17, 2016 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 18: After losing 2-1 to Lille on December 10, Montpellier bounced back with a 4-0 victory over Bordeaux this Saturday.
Montpellier dominated the first half thanks to goals from Lasne ('13) and Sessegnon ('20). Leading 2-0 at the break, Montpellier players further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Mounié '84 and Sylla Yacouba '90).
Bordeaux remains in 10th place with 24 points from 18 games, tie on points with Olympique de Marseille, which has a game in hand.
