FRANCE, Dec. 18, 2016 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 18: Three wins in a row for Marseille. After their success against Nancy and Dijon, Marseille continued their sensational form in the Ligue 1 with a 2-0 victory over Lille this Sunday.
Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with goals by Gomis Bafetimbi ('56) and Thauvin Florian ('61).
Olympique de Marseille climbed to 6th place with 27 points from 18 games, only one point behind Olympique Lyonnais, which has two games in hand.
