Ligue 1 (Week 17) : Lille beats Montpellier 2-1
FRANCE, Dec. 10, 2016 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 17: Three wins in a row for Lille. After their success against Caen and Bordeaux, Lille continued their sensational form in the Ligue 1 with a 2-1 victory over Montpellier this Saturday.
Lille dominated the first half thanks to goals from De Préville ('5) and Sankharé ('38). Leading 2-0 at the break, Lille players further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by in the th minute.
Lille climbed to 11st place with 20 points from 17 games, 2 points behind Saint-Etienne, which has a game in hand.
