Ligue 1 (Week 17) : Monaco defeats Bordeaux 4-0
FRANCE, Dec. 10, 2016 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 17: Two wins in a row for Monaco. After their 5-0 win against Bastia on December 3, Monaco continued their sensational form in the Ligue 1 with a 4-0 victory over Bordeaux this Saturday.
Radamel Falcao scored tripple goals
Monaco dominated the first half thanks to goals from Sidibé ('2) and Falcao ('4). Leading 2-0 at the break, Monaco players further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Falcao '50, '64/penalty).
AS Monaco climbed to first place with 39 points from 17 games, tie on points with runner-up OGC Nice, which has a game in hand.
