Ligue 1 (Week 16) : Monaco beats Bastia 5-0
FRANCE, Dec. 3, 2016 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 16: After their 1-1 draw against Dijon on November 29, Monaco returned to winning ways with a 5-0 victory over Bastia this Saturday.
Radamel Falcao scored dual goals
Monaco dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Mbappe Kylian in the 10th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Monaco players further widened their lead in the second period by scoring four times (Lemar '66, Falcao '68, '73 and Carrillo Guido '79).
AS Monaco climbed to first place with 36 points from 16 games, tie on points with runner-up OGC Nice, which has a game in hand.
