Ligue 1 (Week 17) : Marseille beats Dijon 2-1
FRANCE, Dec. 10, 2016 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 17: Two wins in a row for Marseille. After their 3-0 win against Nancy on December 4, Marseille continued their sensational form in the Ligue 1 with a 2-1 victory over Dijon this Saturday.
Marseille dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Lopez Maxime in the 6th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Marseille players further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Gomis Bafetimbi with just 3 minutes remaining in regulation time.
Olympique de Marseille climbed to 8th place with 24 points from 17 games, tie on points with Bordeaux, which has a game in hand.
