FRANCE, Dec. 10, 2016 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 17: After losing 3-0 to Marseille on December 4, the Thistles bounced back with a 2-0 victory over Angers this Saturday.
Nancy dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Dia Issiar in the 29th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Thistles further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Puyo in the 63rd minute.
Angers SCO are down in 12nd place with 19 points from 17 games, one point behind Lille.
