Ligue 1 (Week 19) : Lille and Rennes play to a 1-1 draw
FRANCE, Dec. 21, 2016 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 19: The match between Lille and Rennes ended in a 1-1 draw on Wednesday.
Rennes players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Rennes forward Paul-Georges Ntep in the 22nd minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Lille with a saving goal from Portuguese forward Eder Antonio in the 89th minute.
Rennes remains in 7th place with 28 points from 19 games, 2 points behind Olympique de Marseille.
