Ligue 1 (Week 19) : Lyon beats Angers 2-0
FRANCE, Dec. 21, 2016 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 19: Four wins in a row for Lyon. After their success against Nantes, Rennes and Monaco, “Les Gones” continued their sensational form in the Ligue 1 with a 2-0 victory over Angers this Wednesday.
Lyon dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by forward Alexandre Lacazette in the 9th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, “Les Gones” further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Fekir with just 6 minutes remaining in regulation time.
Olympique Lyonnais remains in fourth place with 34 points from 18 games, 5 points behind Paris Saint-Germain.
