Ligue 1 (Week 20) : Lille and Saint-Etienne tied at 1-1
FRANCE, Jan. 13, 2017 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 20: The match between Lille and Saint-Etienne ended in a 1-1 draw on Friday.
Saint-Etienne players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Saint-Etienne midfielder Romain Hamouma in the 17th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Lille with a saving goal from Lille forward Nicolas de Roussel de Préville in the 71st minute.
Saint-Etienne remains in 8th place with 27 points from 20 games, one point behind Rennes, which has a game in hand.
