Ligue 1 (Week 20) : Montpellier hold Dijon to 1-1
FRANCE, Jan. 14, 2017 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 20: The match between Montpellier and Dijon ended in a 1-1 draw on Saturday.
Dijon players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Cape Verdean forward Julio Tavares in the 27th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Montpellier with a saving goal from Montpellier defender Jérôme Roussillon in the 87th minute.
Montpellier HSC are down in 12nd place with 23 points from 20 games, one point behind AS Nancy-Lorraine.
