Ligue 1 (Week 23) : Montpellier beats Bastia 2-1
FRANCE, Feb. 4, 2017 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 23: After losing 2-0 to Metz on January 27 and 5-1 to Marseille on January 27, Montpellier bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Bastia this Saturday.
Steve Mounié scored dual goals
Montpellier forward Steve Mounié opened the score in the 17th minute, before seeing Bastia catch up in the 34th minute thanks to Enzo Crivelli. 1-1 at half time. Montpellier eventually won the game in the second period with with another goal by Mounié in the 64th minute.
Montpellier HSC climbed to 12nd place with 26 points from 23 games, tie on points with Lille.
