Ligue 1 (Week 25) : Dijon beats Caen 2-0
FRANCE, Feb. 11, 2017 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 25: After losing 1-3 to PSG on February 8 and 2-1 to Metz on February 8, Dijon returned to winning ways with a 2-0 victory over Caen this Saturday.
Dijon dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Algerian midfielder Mehdi Abeid in the 40th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Dijon players further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Diony with just 4 minutes remaining in regulation time.
Dijon FCO climbed to 13rd place with 27 points from 25 games, 2 points behind Metz, which has a game in hand.
