FRANCE, Feb. 12, 2017 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 25: After losing 0-2 to Nancy on February 5, Nantes bounced back with a 3-2 victory over Marseille this Sunday.
Nantes dominated the first half thanks to goals from Carlos Diego ('12) and Stepinski Mariusz ('20). Leading 2-0 at the break, Nantes players further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Thomasson in the 50th minute.
Olympique de Marseille remains in 6th place with 36 points from 25 games, 3 points behind Saint-Etienne.
