Ligue 1 (Week 4) : PSG defeats Saint-Etienne 3-0
FRANCE, Aug. 25, 2017 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 4: Four wins in a row for PSG. After their success against Amiens SC, Guingamp and Toulouse, PSG continued their sensational form in the Ligue 1 with a 3-0 victory over Saint-Etienne this Friday.
Edinson Cavani scored dual goals
PSG dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Uruguayan forward Edinson Cavani in the 20th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, PSG players further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Motta '51 and Cavani '89).
Paris Saint-Germain remains in first place with 12 points from 4 games, a 3-point lead over runner-up AS Monaco, which has a game in hand.
