Ligue 1 (Week 5) : PSG beats Metz 5-1
FRANCE, Sep. 8, 2017 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 5: Five wins in a row for PSG. After their success against Amiens SC, Guingamp, Toulouse and Saint-Etienne, PSG continued their sensational form in the Ligue 1 with a 5-1 victory over Metz this Friday.
Edinson Cavani scored dual goals
PSG forward Edinson Cavani opened the score in the 31st minute, before seeing Metz catch up in the 37th minute thanks to Emmanuel Riviere. 1-1 at half time. PSG eventually won the game in the second period with four more goals by Mbappe Kylian ('59), Neymar Junior ('69), Cavani ('75) and Lucas ('88).
Paris Saint-Germain remains in first place with 15 points from 5 games, a 3-point lead over runner-up AS Monaco, which has a game in hand.
