FRANCE, Sep. 17, 2017 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 6: Two wins in a row for Nice. After their 4-0 win against Monaco on September 9, Nice continued their sensational form in the Ligue 1 with a 1-0 victory over Rennes this Sunday.
Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with a saving goal by Italian forward Mario Balotelli in the 79th minute.
OGC Nice climbed to 8th place with 9 points from 6 games, only one point behind Nantes.
