Ligue 1 (Week 7) : Nice and Angers tied at 2-2
FRANCE, Sep. 22, 2017 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 7: The match between Nice and Angers ended in a 2-2 draw on Friday.
Angers players started off well by taking the lead thanks to goals by Pavlovic Mateo ('12) and Toko Ekambi Karl ('34) while Nice only scored once Balotelli ('39 on penalty). However, even though they were leading 2-1 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Nice with a saving goal from Irish defender Ismaël Traoré into his own net in the 76th minute.
OGC Nice climbed to 6th place with 10 points from 7 games, only one point behind Olympique Lyonnais, which has a game in hand.
