Ligue 1 (Week 7) : Bordeaux beats Guingamp 3-1
FRANCE, Sep. 23, 2017 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 7: Two wins in a row for Bordeaux. After their 0-1 win against Toulouse on September 15, Bordeaux continued their sensational form in the Ligue 1 with a 3-1 victory over Guingamp this Saturday.
Bordeaux dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Guinean forward François Kamano in the 31st minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Bordeaux players further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Mendy '75 and Cafu Jonathan '90).
Bordeaux climbed to third place with 15 points from 7 games, 3 points behind AS Monaco.
