FRANCE, Sep. 22, 2017 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 7: Two wins in a row for Monaco. After their 3-0 win against RC Strasbourg on September 16, Monaco continued their sensational form in the Ligue 1 with a 4-0 victory over Lille this Friday.
Radamel Falcao scored dual goals
Monaco dominated the first half thanks to goals from Jovetić ('24) and Ghezzal ('30). Leading 2-0 at the break, Monaco players further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Falcao '48, '73/penalty).
AS Monaco remains in second place with 18 points from 7 games, tie on points with Paris Saint-Germain, which has a game in hand.
